On November 11, 2024, Brothers of Spotsylvania Masonic Lodge 26, a Brother from Stafford Lodge 279, the Naphtali Masonic Riding Association (Widowsons) with riders of American Legion Post 55 Legion Riders, rode together and visited the Fork Union Military Academy and joined in their celebration to honor our Veterans. Each leader was introduced and received a joyous welcome. Two of Lodge 26 Brothers were the advance party to welcome others as they arrived. Total donations of $1,015 was presented to the President of FUMA, CAPT Mark E. Black (RET) US Navy. The event was filmed by the Academy. For the record books, this is the first of a ride with Naphtali riders(masons) as a lodge and the Legion Riders. A beautiful day, a wonderful ride, loads of fun, and we made many new friends. We had lunch in their dining facility. It was a great meal. What we did today should be the first of many as our Lodge and the Legion Riders contributed to help these young men in their life journey to be good citizens, great future leaders of our country, and true patriots of our nation. May our Lord Jesus bless these young men, the Fork Union Military Academy, our service men and women, and the United States of America.
